The MGO20 safety edge is a standard-profile, tri-directional monitored safety device that reverses direction of the operator immediately upon compression of the edge from any of three directions when the operator is moving in the close direction. With a monitored safety edge, the operator will know if the device fails or if there is a problem with wiring and will go into safety mode. The safety edge connects to the 8K2 terminal on the motor carriage circuit board, thus avoiding the need for coil cords or take-up reels.
